Pete-Flo Enterprises is dedicated to driving change at the intersections of theory and practice across sectors, beginning with the arts and culture field. Led by Dr. Quanice G. Floyd, Pete-Flo is an ecosystem of five dynamic projects, each rooted in liberatory, abolitionist, and regenerative frameworks.
Dr. Floyd is a scholar-practitioner, consultant, educator, and coach. Her work is grounded in frameworks she has developed over years of practice: the Liberatory and Abolitionist Mindset Framework, Regenerative Cultural Work Theory, and the rooted and rested methodology. She teaches Arts Education, Arts Entrepreneurship, Community Engagement, Cultural Policy, Governance and Leadership and Arts Advocacy and brings that same rigor and urgency to every project in this ecosystem.
What does Pete-Flo mean? Pete-Flo stands as a tribute to family, community, and liberation. Rooted in the names of the maternal and paternal families of Dr. Floyd, Pete-Flo Enterprises carries forward the strength, resilience, and vision of those who came before. Every project exists to disrupt, reimagine, and create spaces that uplift our voices and center liberation, one purposeful step at a time.
